We have an urgent requirement for the position *.Net Development Lead *at*Providence, RI*. *Job Details:* Job ID: 46785 Job Title: .Net Development Lead Client: HP Duration: 8+ Months Location: Providence, RI *Job Description: * The account is seeking a Leader with strong .NET application and experience with Fixed Priced Contracts. They will be responsible for a technical team where the effort is to replace the current Motor Vehicle system with a modern .NET based solution. The current scope of work includes delivery of solutions involving Driver License, Vehicle, Title and Registration, Reporting, Business licensing and inspections. As the .Net Development Lead, candidates must perform the following: * Effective management and leadership of legacy application development * Knowledge of re-engineering processes converting data from legacy code * Demonstrated ability to be a change agent and a leader * Willingness to take on risks in order to gain improvement *Note*: The person who is chosen must be on site 5 days a week in Providence, RI *Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc): MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION* *Required Skills:* • At least 5 years Information Technology (IT) project management experience • At least 4 years’ experience managing IT teams of 4 or more developers and/or systems integrators • At Least 5 years .NET development experience * Leadership experience * Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team and customer representatives, as well as Senior Managers * Must be able to manage a team of 4-6 resources effectively and provide effective feedback and reporting to HP Management * Must be able to lead a team of developers working across Agile Scrum teams in adhering to coding standards, providing solutions to problem code areas, and recommending methods of coding to achieve customer needs and high quality code * Must be able to review other developer team members coding assignments quickly and effectively in an Agile development environment * Must be able to work with the Project Architecture team to deliver developed code to achieve architectural standards *Education and Experience Required:* * First level University degree plus 5 years directly related experience. Advanced University degree a plus.
