Title: Project Manager posted on 2014-06-13 16:00:28 Job Description:Hi *Title : Sr Project Manager* *Location : Little Rock Ak* *Duration : 6 Months* *Experience is must* *SOA** experience is required* *Experience with MMIS is required* *Healthcare** experience is required* The Senior Project Manager works in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-driven organizational framework and provides management expertise for assigned projects. This role is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating assigned projects. The Project Manager is responsible for guiding implementation and integration activities for assigned projects and works with IT and non-IT personnel, vendors and project stakeholders to ensure all critical program factors are managed, implemented, tracked and reported. *The Project Manager will:* • Apply and adhere to the Agile Methodology • Create an overall, detailed Project Management Plan (PMP) and closely monitor task progress, milestones and deliverables to ensure on time/on budget project performance • Define project milestones and deliverables and create a work breakdown structure (WBS) to clearly define the level of effort and resources needed to complete all required tasks • Monitor all project activities and provide regular reporting to defined stakeholder groups to convey project status, gather project performance feedback, manage expectations and ensure project alignment with established requirements • Build, manage and maintain project teams and foster an environment for clear communication, synchronized activities, and established processes for issue resolution and change control • Resolve any issues and manage risks through the life cycle of the project by following established project and system development methodologies, risk mitigation strategies and approved problem resolution procedures • Conduct regular status meetings with project personnel and stakeholder groups • Effectively manage project scope by monitoring any requested changes and ensuring the proper change control/request process is followed • Mentor and motivate the project team proactively and provide recognition for exemplary performance • Maintain a project documentation repository and monitor documentation leads to ensure content remains current and relevant at every stage of the project • Perform sign-offs for key deliverables (written and non-written) • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews • Establish a project closeout process that includes post project evaluation activities, access to project documentation and knowledge transfer • Maintain industry/technical knowledge base and facilitates/maintains industry relationships • Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service • Respond to client requests within agreed upon timeframes • Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs *Required:* • Demonstrated experience with *AGILE* Methodology and *SCRUM* approach • Five (8) or more years of demonstrated experience in program, project, business or marketing management • Three (3) or more years of practical experience with managing software development/integration projects • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution for projects with a team-oriented/collaborative environment • Demonstrated experience with successful people management and mentoring • Proven experience in change management and knowledge of project management methodology and tools • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project) • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources • *SOA experience is required* • *Experience with MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) is required* • *Healthcare experience is required* • *Curam* is highly preferred.
