Experience as a self-directed QA Engineer - no mentor on site so the manager is looking for candidates who can jump right in and bring their own knowledge and experience. 2. Testing both UI and back end - Java and JavaScript 3. Ability to collaborate. Contractor will be interacting with internal TR team members. 1. Recent hands on experience writing and testing Java based backend server components, including JUNIT and Java programming experience. 2. Recent hands on experience conducting tests in a UNIX/Linux based server environment. Includes basic to intermediate level knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and file systems. 3. Recent hands on experience working closely with developers to reproduce and prioritize bugs. 4. Recent hands on experience conducting functional testing, performance/load testing and failover testing. 5. Recent hands on experience designing and building out a regression testing suite for backend server components written in JAVA. 6. Recent hands on experience creating test plans based off of minimal requirements and no existing test framework. 7. Recent hands on testing experience on Agile software development projects. 8.
