Title: Java API Developer posted on 2014-07-10 17:29:15 Job Description:One of our client, has an immediate need for an *API Developer* to work on an 18 month project. This is an opening on an exciting new initiative with an ambitious objective to consolidate multiple partner and developer facing assets across our client’s organization into a common platform in order to simplify partner connectivity, decrease integration costs, and accelerate the pace of collaboration and innovation across their IT ecosystem. You will design, build, and publish APIs to connect a global community of developers from some of the largest banks, merchants and strategic partners to the client’s payment network and eco-system. You will work closely with Product Management, Architecture and other engineering teams with the client to rapidly transform and grow the API catalog. *The API Developer will:* · Design and develop *web service APIs* and core functionality to allow third-party developers to more easily integrate applications with client products. · Develop high-quality, ship-ready code with unit tests. · Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development. · Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products.
