Description:

We are building software for the interface of the future. It just so
happens, most of these digital eyewear devices are running Android SDK. As
part of our team, you will be instrumental in developing industry leading
digital eyewear applications for the deskless workplace. We are looking for
someone who can build scalable and agile applications with development
experience in enterprise software, API's, and cloud-based applications. You
will be focused on user interface design and integration with revolutionary
new hardware.

You will be working to optimize our solutions to leverage sensors and
gesture driven interfaces.

Build the future of UX with digital eyewear (ie. Google Glass, Vuxiz, and
Epson Moverio..etc.)
Your teammates will be smart, supportive, and positive. You will be on a
team that appreciates honesty and transparency.
A desire to create something original, exciting, and boldy go where no one
has gone before.


Job Requirements: Responsibilities:

Prototyping and building new ways of displaying data in digital eyewear
Enthusiastically articulating a hypothesis towards a solution, its
architecture, and implementing it on digital eyewear running Android.
Growing a team of highly skilled, passionate, engineers.
Being a member on the Android platform team. Finding better ways to do
everything. Staying at the forefront of the latest advances and
productivity tools.
Specs for Our Next Engineer:
Desired Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES:

* 5+ years of industry programming
* 2+ years of Android programming with an understanding of Android
intricacies, tools, and libraries.
* Can pickup different languages, frameworks, and techniques with ease.
* Craves clean code filled with good design-patterns.
* Comfortable mobbing across stacks and languages
* Experience collecting metrics from mobile
* A track-record of shipping Android applications
* Augmented Reality, Machine Vision, Gesture or Voice recognition skills.
* Low-level programming skills: C++, NDK, GNU/Linux
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Capturing and utilizing sensor data
