Position : Jive Engineer Location : Deerfield Beach, FL Duration : 6 Months Contract to Hire *NOTE: Candidate must be EAD/GC/US Citizen : Position will convert permanent after 6 months. * *Jive (Social Collaboration) Engineer:-* Must have: Social Collaboration technologies (doesn't need to be Jive), great communication, and be technical. Nice to have: Jive, build from scratch, and migrations. *This individual will be responsible for:*Providing the design, engineering, and technical leadership related to the implementation and support of the Jive product. Looking for an innovator and thought leader with passion and expertise for Social Collaboration technologies. The ideal candidate would want to challenge the status quo to look for improvements for processes and technology. Responsibilities include driving and executing various project and support initiatives, and delivering results while providing assurance that quality designs and best practices are implemented. Responsible for achieving the technical goals and objectives for the JIVE product Participates in developing strategies and technology roadmaps Define best practices and standards Manage platform configuration and customizations Manage service requests and changes to the environment to support new or increased use Coordinate and perform upgrades and customize software modifications Support Community Manager with training, promotion and help Focus on sustaining operational activities including pro-active monitoring, end user issue diagnosis and remediation, change control management, and system administration Works closely with the Community Strategist to create end to end solution for new use cases Work with various development and engineering teams on technical implementation Stay abreast of trends in collaboration tools and applications Maintain close relationship with product vendor to stay abreast of platform enhancements and how they can be leveraged to further achieve intranet / collaboration goals Provide Project Estimates Develop system design and engineering documentation Introduce technology advancements Manage day to day operations with Vendor/Service Provider Actively participate in Jive’s Customer Community to stay abreast of best practices and continuous learning opportunities.
