Title: Teradata DBA posted on 2014-09-10 20:29:45 Job Description:Title: Teradata DBA Location: San Jose, CA Length: 12 Months This group is much more centered on the Teradata Master Certification for DBAs. If you have a Green Card without Master Certification, do not send. The only exception is a US Citizen without Master Certification. All other have to have it. Hope this clarifies. We are working with a another group inside CISCO. This group also needs DBA’s but are willing to go higher on rates based on experience and Certifications. Will take people with 4-5 years as a Teradata DBA (authentic .. real experience!!!) *or* Will take people with 2-3 years Teradata DBA if they have the Teradata Master Certification (this is the highest level of Certification Teradata offers.. its not the Teradata developer cert or any of the others) Responsibilities: • Day to day Teradata DBA. • Project and Operations support (including 24x7 on call rotation). • Technical Documentation of procedures. • Working with other DBAs to establish best practices and policies. • Capacity planning.
