Title: Webservices Developer posted on 2014-09-16 14:55:58 Job Description: *Job Title: Web Services Developer (GC and USC ONLY)* JOB SUMMARY CLIENT has an opening for a Web Services and HTML/ASP.net Developer who is an expert in developing RESTful Web services using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and C# for a client in Foster City, CA. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:* The candidate will be responsible for developing the necessary interfaces and database environment for a real estate database that will compile information from multiple sources and disseminate via web services to various stakeholders. This position will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, real estate team members, DBAs, and developers to ensure effective execution of REST Web services functionality and data migration. The Web Services Developer will also: • Provide hands-on design, build, deployment, and support for Visual Studio and/or Visual C # applications, including REST applications • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 Must be reliable self-starter, self-directed, and able to work diligently on one’s own without direct supervision. Requires thorough, expert level, working knowledge of the subject matter. *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES* Provides informal assistance and/or training to co-workers. Not responsible for formal supervision of individual employees within a work unit and/or group. *QUALIFICATIONS* In order to perform this job successfully, the candidate must have near expert understanding of the items listed in the requirements section below. Additionally, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
