Job Summary: The SharePoint Developer will assist in all aspects of SharePoint site development including requirements gathering, new site creation and management, and site enhancements. The SharePoint Developer will work with software, BA/QA analysts, DBAs and infrastructure teams to evaluate business needs, design and manage end-to-end integration of new or existing systems, and provide technical guidance and support. Will also perform a variety of engineering tasks around system design, implementation, and integration. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand engineering designs, work with limited direction, and understand how multiple IT systems interact with each other. Job Requirements: Roles/Responsibilities: Provide SharePoint site development, including requirements gathering, new site creation and management, and site enhancements. Troubleshoot and provide resolution of SharePoint related issues. Ensure that the development SP sites and databases are backed up/recovered. Provide customization of the look and feel of SharePoint sites. Maintain SharePoint access controls and role-based security. Verify the technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs artifacts. Ensure all engineering designs are integrated seamlessly and can be executed. Ensure all build activities are completed as referenced in the engineering diagrams that were drafted and approved for project’s successful outcome. Work with the engineers to document IT backup, audit, and upgrade processes. Identify, recommend, and manage the Integration and Interface requirements. Interface with project managers and provide appropriate engineering update status. Skills/Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience related SharePoint development experience. Extensive experience with .NET Web application development using C# and ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>. Experience developing Web parts and related coding techniques and best practices and feature deployment. Experience with solution package development and custom workflow development. Direct experience using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath 2010 or later. Expert in all out-of-the-box features in SharePoint 2007 and 2010. Solid experience with CAML, CSS and SQL Server. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ce certification within 6 months of hire date. Preferred Qualifications: SharePoint certification. Currently possess an active Secret security clearance. Currently possess CompTIA Security+ce certification.
