Experience with Perl programming and Autosys job scheduler is strongly desired • A working knowledge of programming languages (Java/C++) is a plus •Proficiency in OLTP, data warehouse design & management and reporting •Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record on delivering large technology projects is essential •Strong interpersonal, relationship management, facilitation and communication skills *Education and Experience* • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or MS Preferred • Good understanding of unique challenges in the data modeling, data collection and maintenance of OLTP data •Experience in Financial Services a plus •Experience in Agile methodology is a plus *Primary Responsibilities:* •Work with a cross-functional team of Trading, Application Developers, and Business Analysts in a matrixed organization and deliver the best solution to meet Fixed Income Bond OMS platform features and functionality • Responsible for understanding, articulating, documenting and presenting DB requirements (both business and technical) •Analyze and profile current data; prepare logical and physical data models based on the requirements. Make decisions on appropriate usage of E-R models and/or dimensional models •Apply best practices to come up with DB designs to meet or exceed business needs.
