Interviews are in person only. The assignment will be extended thru FY16 The City of Columbus Auditor's office is seeking a System Specialist econsultant to assisting in developing interface conversions from other city systems such as Payroll, Tax, Water to Microsoft Dynamics AX format. The consultant will be assisting the Auditor's office to analyze, format, and develop the processes for Microsoft Dynamics 2012 AX. There is a framework for converting the values in place. Sources are flat text files, EXCEL and Oracle. Conversion objects are in Oracle PL/SQL and we are planning on using toolsets like Monarch Desktop/Modeler which can combine, lookup, and merge/transform disparate data sources. We may also use SQL Server and potentially use SQL Server Integration Services move, link and or import them into DB and convert them. The successful candidate will have the following skill sets: T-SQL SQL Server SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Visual Studio C# VB.NET Monarch Oracle PL/SQL SSRS Management Reporter We are also seeking desired skill sets of : Inbound/outbound Dynamics AX Integration frameworks are AIEF & DIEF and are specific to the Dynamics AX ERP system Language used in Dynamics AX is X++ (it is a lot like C#) SSRS & Management Reporter reports would need to know Dynamics AX 2012 table structures System Specialist The System Specialist is knowledgeable on the usage and support of a collection of development platforms or technical architectures, and products that run on those platforms. The primary responsibility of a System Specialist is to ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of a development platform or a test environment for Application Teams or end users. The System Specialist may support one or several instances of a platform/environment, applying their skills directly to a platform/environment and/or leveraging their skills across multiple platforms/environment. The System Specialist may, especially for usage and support of a platform, be part of an Application Team using the architecture.
