*Position: Security Administrator for PeopleSoft Applications     *

*Location: Austin TX*

*Duration: 6 months*



*Candidate will be responsible to: *

   - *Administer security development and maintenance projects supporting
   PeopleSoft applications.*
   - *Analyze new security roles/permissions or change requests on the
   basis of best practices and in conjunction with the functional team leads
   and agency personnel.*
   - *Manage user ID’s, role and permission list creation.*
   - *Ensure security synchronization between the PeopleSoft applications.*
   - *Design and test new development or enhancement/maintenance of
   existing roles and permissions.*
   - *Resolve production and non production security issues.*
   - *Perform periodic security and access reviews.*
   - *Work with internal and external auditors as requested.*
   - *Work with business users to define PeopleSoft security roles and
   access levels for users.*
   - *Performs other duties as assigned.         *
   - *Able to work independently in a team environment with on-site and
   remote teams.*
   - *Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.*
   - *Knowledge of project management methodologies.*
   - *Knowledge of technical and functional attributes of PeopleSoft.*
   - *Possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with
   readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.*
   - *Experience with SDLC methodology.*



*Four (4) years of experience in each of the following areas:*

*o PeopleSoft Tools, including PeopleCode, Data Mover Scripts and
Application;*

*o Ability to interact and communicate well with functional team leads and
agency personnel;*

*o PeopleSoft 8x security setup and maintenance;*

*o Designer SQL and shell script development;*

*o Creating access requests and authorization processes and procedures as
well as design of approach for converting legacy system security to
PeopleSoft system security;*

*o Managing Security Roles, Permission Lists and Profiles across all
PeopleSoft Environments; and knowledge of software development
methodologies, design and implementations.*



*One (1) year of experience with two(2) or more of the following PeopleSoft
modules/tools:*

*o Active Directory (LDAP);*

*o Portal;*

*o Workflow;*

*o Application Security;*

*o 3rd Party Tool Integration;*

*o Roles/Permission Lists;*

*o Query Trees;*

*o Row Level Security;*

*o Tree Manager;*

*o Integration Broker;*

*o Application Designer;*

*o Data Mover;*

*o Security Designer;*

*o Identity Management Solution; or*

*o MS DotNet.*

*Four (4) years of experience in each of the following areas:*

*o PeopleSoft implementations and/or upgrades;*

*o Understanding of People Soft Security hierarchy and setup (Role-level,
Permission Lists, User Profiles, Field-level, etc.)across application
components.*



*One (1) year of experience with PeopleSoft Treasury applications.*

*Three (3) years of experience in each of the following areas:*

*o Serving in a lead position on at least 1 full life cycle implementation
of PeopleSoft;*

*o Educating others on security policies, governance, etc. as well as
applying knowledge of PeopleSoft Security to*

*maximize features and functionality in support of user requirements;*

*o Working w/subject-matter experts, where security processes are
concerned;*

*o Public sector related work;*

*o Establishing/Documenting and communicating security standards, best
practices, fixes, and providing direction/recommendations to improve,
streamline, and automate PeopleSoft Security; *

*o Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff
on the project.*



*Two (2) years of experience in each of the following areas:*

*o Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on
diverse teams(e.g., portfolio/project managers, domain experts, users, and
software engineering team) to design and deploy business information*

*systems across the enterprise;*

*o Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on
diverse teams(e.g., portfolio/project*

*o Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and
operating systems.*



*One (1) year of experience with procurement applications or enterprise
software solutions.*
