*Job Title: **Data BSA * Location– Sitting in NYC – Phone interviews for Monday – 3 open positions ! *Must-haves:* -3-7 years of experience as a Business Data Analyst -Strong knowledge/experience with Reference Data -Experience with SQL & querying -Experience creating user stories in an Agile environment -Experience writing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) -Heavy knowledge of SDLC -Good communication Client is looking for 2 Business Data Analysts for one of our largest financial clients located in NYC. These people will be brought on for a large-scale project to streamline the client's workflow system, taking multiple workflows and combining them into one. There will be a lot of initial data backfill and a major part of this role will be data testing. These analysts will be working in the SQL database, writing queries to extract and test the data and to identify flaws for the back-end/IT side to fix. These two people will be expected to have heavy knowledge and experience with reference data and must be able to communicate/explain requirements effectively between the IT side and the business sides of the house. The ideal candidates will be proactive, self-starters, and take initiative in the projects they take on.
