*Business Systems Analyst* *Face to face 6 months * The ideal candidate will be responsible for: • Work with Strategic Business Units, Functional Centers of Excellence, IT Functional Areas and other application areas to determine requirements. • Evaluate existing applications to determine required improvements. • Define and document business and functional requirements through written external/internal specifications. • Re-engineer business processes in a format that is useful to SBU, SW test, IT, Program Governance and CSC. • Utilize software development lifecycle methods, approaches, and techniques. • Interact and lead software development group in change control, issues resolution, requirements gathering, analysis and design, risk analysis, risk mitigation, programming/construction, unit testing, integrated, regression and performance testing and transition of applications into a production environment. • Work closely with BTL, IT Project Owner, TPL, Project Manager and others on software releases by performing project scoping activities, writing software component specs, requirements and use cases, tracking tasks, and milestones. • Verify that requirements are testable and generate testing objectives. • Meet project schedules on-time and in-budget • Support application/infrastructure and architecture subprojects within ongoing production environments. • Ability to perform needs assessment, make recommendations, and execute change. • Planning, organization and prioritizing skills • Problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidate must have • A Bachelor's degree with extensive coursework in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. • Eight years of experience and general knowledge in systems analysis, design, development and documenting or testing, preferably in enterprise applications. • At least 5 years experience with systems functional analysis, Business/Systems Analysis experience or Functional testing on large scale/cross functional projects required. • Experience in leading and coordinating medium to large projects to incorporate technology changes or develop a new technology product. • Experience in defining processes, creating process maps, end-to-end business requirements • Experience in Power Designer is preferred; • Excellent oral and written communications skills are required to consult with business owners, end-users, clients, vendors and other internal staff.
