With AAM coming to Houston in May 2011, I am writing to ask if there would be any interest in participating in a session, or, if any other of you are considering proposing a session on implementing technology that would allow your staff and/or researchers to search resources across the entire institution? At MFAH, we are at a phase one point in a project that will use Microsoft's SharePoint 2010 with FAST to search not only collections database data, but also search our archives, library, and perhaps other single instance database sources at the same time through the SharePoint browser-based interface. I'd be very interested to hear from those of you at other institutions working toward something similar, perhaps with Lucene/Solr, or by other means, who might be interested in presenting at a session on this topic.
