I too would be interested in what others have to say. We are currently in the process of selecting a vendor to create a mobile tour for the museum. Seeing what others do and issues they have had will help us in evaluating our decisions. Jeff La Clair

This initiative has led to lots of learnings and questions. And I would really appreciate people's responses to some of these questions. Charging Visitors smartphones - 1. Does anyone provide charging facilities for visitors' smartphones and tablets? 2. If you do what sort of service do you provide? 3. What have been the pros and cons? Loan Devices - 1. Does anyone provide loan devices to those people that don't have smartphones so they can access this mobile content? I know places have exhibition guides on museum owned iTouches (etc) which are leant out but I wonder if this is different, but perhaps it is not. Thoughts please! 2. Again what service do you provide, is it different from lending out of traditional audio guide?
