Post-Conference Materials Now Available from 2008 WebWise Conference Webcasts, full streaming video, and slide presentations from the 2008 WebWise Conference, "WebWise 2.0: The Power of Community," are now available online. Materials can be accessed through either the IMLS (http://www.imls.gov/webwise) or the 2008 WebWise Conference website (http://webwise2008.fcla.edu<http://webwise2008.fcla.edu/>). Post-conference coverage includes the keynote address by Jonathan Fanton, President of The MacArthur Foundation; Jose-Marie Griffith's release of the Interconnections Report; and presentations from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the InternetArchive, the Encyclopedia of Life, and other notable organizations and projects. Focusing on the impact of web 2.0 technology on museums and libraries, the conference was sponsored by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and The Wolfsonian-Florida International University. Over three hundred professionals from across the nation gathered in Miami Beach, FL for the event.
