Trying to cope with the effects of changes caused by the rapid growth of mobile 
web?

You might find useful the report of a recent V&A survey of museum visitors and 
their attitudes to using mobile devices in museums. The full report is now

Some findings include
- the V&A as an art and design museum has a higher than average number of 
visitors with smart phones and tablets
- most people bring their phones but leave their tablets
- 60% of visitors use their smart phones to enhance their visit
- 83% took photos of objects or galleries
- 24% of UK visitors and 60% of overseas visitors turn off data roaming to 
avoid costs

There's lots more. 

The post also discusses themes emerging from interim findings of a survey 
across Tate, the National Gallery and IWM. These include issue surrounding
