In the interest of closer collaboration, MCN and the AAM M&T decided to have an MCN board member represented on the M&T board, and I currently fill that slot (just in case you're wondering!). Cheers, Günter *** The AAM Media and Technology Committee is accepting online applications for the 2005 MUSE awards at http://www.mediaandtechnology.org/muse/ for media projects produced in the year 2004. The deadline for entries is January 28, 2005. Enter your DVDs, CD-ROMs, Web sites, videos, multimedia programs, and audio tours in the 2005 Muse Awards Competition sponsored by the AAM Media and Technology Committee. Now in its 16th year, the Muse awards competition recognizes outstanding achievement in museum media. Categories include educational topics, promotion of an institution, research databases, and two-way communication projects. For more information, consult the committee's Web site at http://www.mediaandtechnology.org. Applications must be made by AAM Institutional or Individual Members. There is a $100 entry fee per entry. AAM Media and Technology committee members receive a 50% discount on entry fees. All applications must be submitted online. No hardcopy, e-mailed or faxed applications will be accepted.
