Pacific Asia Museum is pleased to announce the launching of a new education module: Nature of the Beast: Animals in Japanese Paintings and Prints . Nature of the Beast is an educational and interactive exploration of the way artists of Edo-period Japan depicted animals and the natural world. It draws on the extensive collections of the Pacific Asia Museum. There are both Flash and HTML versions of content as well as teaching ideas and resources for educators. An interactive timeline, a game (with more to come!), and Zoomify are also featured elements of the module.
Please take the opportunity to explore this new component and send your comments to be...@pacificasiamuseum.org
Thank you.
