Hello everyone -- I would like to invite you to attend a meeting of the Metrics & Evaluation SIG Thursday, November 3 at lunch (12:00) at the MCN conference in Boston. We will meet near the registration desk. As it will be our first meeting, I would be interested in your input on topics related to evaluation. This is a new SIG, so I include a description below.
The Metrics & Evaluation SIG enables MCN members to exchange research (results and methodology) and share questions regarding all manner of quantitative and qualitative evaluation of on-line museum content. Areas of particular interest are user feedback analysis, server log analysis, and user consultation and participation. The ME SIG endeavors to develop "best practices" and further the knowledge and expertise of participants as a result of pooling our experience.
Come and meet with us and we can pick up a bite to eat while we discuss!
If you aren't able to attend the meeting, but have an interest in this topic, I'd still be very interested in either speaking with you at the conference or communicating by e-mail.
