Dear Sheila,
I am interested in joining your group to
learn more about evaluating online content, although much of our content is not
yet online and in the prototype stage. Please keep me posted. Many thanks.

Subject: Metrics & Evaluation
Community of Practice
Hello everyone,
The
Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) invites colleagues and
organizations involved in issues surrounding evaluation of online museum content to participate in a pilot
online community of practice. We will be able to post documents (e.g.
surveys), share survey results, and discuss both quantitative and qualitative
analysis. By using this online space effectively to pool our collective
experience, we can further our knowledge and expertise in understanding our
online audiences.
I
encourage anyone with interest in this area to join, in particular those in the
newly formed MCN ME SIG, which focusses on quantitative and qualitative
evaluation of on-line museum content. (Information on this SIG will be
available on the new MCN site in the near future) If you are interested
in joining this community of practice, please contact me directly and I will
set up an account for you. The space is being hosted by CHIN using iCohere
software, and I will send you a message with instructions on how to join.
