Greetings, all.
I created a group on ma.gnolia [http://ma.gnolia.com] - for MCN
members to share vital web links for museum computer and technology
topics.
http://ma.gnolia.com/groups/mcn
ma.gnolia is a new social bookmarking website.
It's much like del.icio.us [http://del.icio.us] - but ma.gnolia has
the ability to create groups [both public and private], the ability
to privatize submitted links [for both individuals and groups], and
supplies RSS feeds for everything. It's general user interface is a
bit richer, and I find, easier to use. It's just in beta now, but
looks to be very promising.
Please feel free to join up - and to start submitting links. The MCN
group listed above is currently an open group - but if someone at MCN
would like to join, and be a co-moderator of the group [if that is
desired], I am completely open to that. I'd actually would enjoy
it! I certainly don't want to upset anyone at MCN - but felt having
the group established would be a good thing, before someone else
takes the name. :)
