Hello MCN Members,

I'm writing to highlight this upcoming session at DAM New York 2015 and the
$100 discount with code MCN100.

A Nonprofit Working Session: Learn, Connect, Look Ahead

Nonprofits such as charities, museums, and libraries fall under the umbrella of
"public-benefit nonprofit corporations". All such organizations share a
mission-focused purpose and operate under carefully controlled budgets - they
are in the business of serving the public, not just earning and spending
dollars. Yet, in order to embrace 21st century audiences who demand
unprecedented access to meaningful and portable content, this sector has begun
to transform - to see itself as part of a vast digital publishing enterprise.
The need to craft and share stories, engage funders and provide inspiration has
never been greater. But is the sector equipped to take on this new set of
challenges?

Taking place at DAM New York and facilitated by Douglas Hegley, Director of
Media and Technology, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, this gathering will bring
together attendees from the nonprofit sector (and anyone else with an interest)
for a collaborative working session, focused on digital media production, asset
management and sharing content with the public. We will learn from each other,
share successes and stumbles, expand our professional networks, and set the
stage for continued dialog. Let's put our heads together and look to the future.
