Hi all,
The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) in Sydney, Australia encompasses 
the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and Discovery Centre. MAAS is seeking 
a Digital Studio Manager to lead a unit in the development and implementation 
of exciting and innovative digital media programs.
The Digital Studio unit combines the skills of online, photography and video 
production to digitise and document collections, create interactive and 
educational content projects, working closely with teams across Programming, 
Exhibitions, Strategic Collections and Marketing. This unit develops and 
manages content development, as well as coordinating design, sourcing of assets 
and implementation.
This role will deliver leadership to the Digital Studio unit in creating 
digital media programs thataddress, excite and delight audiences,ensure active 
linkages across programs within the Group and their integration across major 
business initiatives,project manage and support content development and 
technical and design infrastructure projects.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must meet these requirements:
QualificationsDegree in technology or related discipline and with demonstrated 
experience in managing across a diverse range of technical and digital 
production infrastructure in the museum or cultural sector.
ExperienceKnowledge of state-of-the-art digital technologies and successful 
experience implementing major technology initiatives, coupled with an 
understanding of the full spectrum of digital activities.
OtherThe successful applicant is required to undergo, and for new employees 
meet the cost of a National Police Records Check, and be assessed as suitable.
