Gifts and Data Administrator Job Description General Summary The Gifts and Data Administrator provides fulfillment and acknowledgment of membership gifts, creates and maintains records in the CRM database, and designs and provides reporting systems for analysis of donor giving. The job requires close teamwork with Membership and Accounting staff, and backup for the Director of Information Technology. Extraordinary focus, critical thinking, attention to detail, an understanding of basic accounting procedures and exceptional customer service practices are essential skills for this position. Principle Duties and Responsibilities · Prioritizes and processes membership gifts for bank deposit and entry into database system · Prepares membership gift acknowledgments in an accurate and timely manner · Provides backup and support to the Director of Information Technology, including basic IT and database maintenance duties · Collaborates with Membership staff to resolve membership issues, create campaign codes for special appeals and produce reports · Designs reports, dashboards, acknowledgment letters and mailing lists using Salesforce, Conga Composer and other appropriate applications · Maintains organized files for membership gifts and recordkeeping as needed · Respects and maintains donor confidentiality at all times Education, Experience and Skills · Qualified candidates will have completed a Bachelor’s degree and have 2-4 years prior experience with database systems, or some equivalent combination of experience and education · Must have strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to work in a team environment · Proficiency with databases or constituent relationship management systems, and general knowledge of accounting practices is essential; experience with Salesforce.com is preferred · Ability to juggle multiple priorities and take initiative · Must have excellent computer skills: experience with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, cloud computing and general internet capabilities Salary and Benefits · This is an exempt full-time position and reports to the Director of Information Technology. · Salary commensurate with skills and experience, with a general range of $40,000-$45,000/year · Health and Dental Insurance (70% of premiums covered by employer) · Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance · Paid Time Off (Major Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Leave) and Family Leave of Absence · 401(a) and 403(b) Retirement Plans To Apply Submit cover letter and resume (MS Word or PDF) to Director of Information Technology Marylee McInnes at [email protected].
