It is a pleasure to extend an invitation to the upcoming Methods for Change
event series on research and evaluation.

Taking place in Chicago, at both the Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos,
there are a variety of workshops running that will provide cutting edge
insight into a host of relevant topics to yourselves, including survey
design, collecting and analyzing qualitative data and public engagement
evaluation.

The course training experts are *Dr. Trish Patrick* (CEO, Informal Teaching
and Learning) and *Dr. Eric Jensen* (Associate Professor, Dept. of
Sociology, University of Warwick).

These workshops are running from September 27th to October 6th and if you
register before Sept 9th, you will receive a 20% discount on bookings.

This is an invitation to register for upcoming professional development

Dr Trish Patrick
Dr. Patrick earned a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with a
concentration in environmental science education from the University of
North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2006. Her specialty is in preparing
Informal Science Educators and the influence of families on learning.
Dr Eric Jensen
Dr Eric Jensen is a leading social scientist specialising in innovative
methods of conducting impact evaluation research. He has a passion for
making ground breaking evaluations techniques widely accessible. Dr Jensen
has recently authored Doing Real Research: A Practical Guide to Social
Research (SAGE) <http://bit.ly/jensrr>. He holds a PhD in Sociology from
the University of Cambridge. He teaches social research methods at the
University of Warwick.
