I have not found anything as of late that meets all of those requirements. Mostly I have found that if I want something asthetic and sounds good, it is going to require a external amp.
I have been using either Innovox or James Loudspeaker brands for these. http://www.innovoxaudio.com/products/micro-line-arrays/ http://www.jamesloudspeaker.com/types/2 The one that I had that had the integrated amp stuck 6" off the wall past the monitor and had front display buttons we had to cover up. To run these speakers I have been using a Pyle PTA4 stereo 120W amp. It just fits behind a monitor and sounds "decent enough". http://www.pyleaudio.com/sku/PTA4/Mini-Stereo-Power-Amplifier---2-x-120-Watt-with-AUX,-CD-and-Mic-Inputs ------- Patrick Davis | Exhibitions AV Specialist | The Field Museum 1400 S Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605 312-665-7968 <https://www.fieldmuseum.org/email-signature> On Thu, Jan 19, 2017 at 2:02 PM, George Scharoun <gschar...@mfa.org> wrote: > Hi all, > > Built-in speakers on digital signage monitors are getting less and less > useable, to the extent that the speaker on our Samsung DB22D sounds about > as good as an old pair of apple earbuds sitting in a coffee can.
