Doron, We use EMS (https://www.emssoftware.com) for event management which includes reservations for spaces, setup instructions, external rental management, etc. We use MicroMain (https://www.micromain.com) for maintenance tracking, facilities trouble tickets, etc.
I'd be happy to put you into contact with our power users if you wish to discuss either solution in more detail. However, lack of integration, version control or granular filtering create a range of resource assignment conflicts and miscommunication. emails/ calendaring platforms (ala exchange) are inefficient for controlled communication and do not provide just in time, at a glance information to different stakeholders (security/ AV and others) The ideal platform will be easy to customize, and have various levels of access control that can be assigned. tracking of assets and spaces are critical. What platforms or controls do you use in your institutions? Are they tied to your Building management systems? Fixed asset financial tracking? Thank you for your valuable input Doron Ben-Avraham Chief Information Officer Solomon R.
