About the Museum Learning Hub

The Museum Learning Hub<https://museum-hub.org/> is a nationwide initiative
organized by the six U.S. regional museum associations and dedicated to
providing free, self-paced training resources for small museums. Part of the
Digital Empowerment Project, the inaugural series of free live webinars and
technical workshops on the Museum Learning Hub will focus on digital media and
technology capacity-building programs and resources. This inaugural series was
funded by a National Leadership Grant for Museums award from the Institute of
Museum and Library Services.
The Digital Empowerment Project will produce ten (10) live training modules,
each featuring up to four (4) webinars/workshops and digital resource toolkits.
The live training modules will take place over the course of a 10-month rollout
period (April 2021-January 2022), with each webinar/workshop within a module
taking place the same day of the week and time of day over the course of the
month (typically Tuesdays or Thursdays at 11am PST/2pm EST).
All session and workshop recordings and resources will be made available online
through the Museum Learning Hub (museum-hub.org).
