Dear Colleagues,

On Friday, June 18th from 8 AM PST/11 AM EST to 9 AM PST/12 PM EST, the
Balboa Park Online Collaborative (BPOC) invites you to join us for Episode
5 of our Dreaming of a New Collections Management System series. In this
episode, there will be a discussion on how cooperative models for
collections database and management work may serve your institution. Our
featured Solution Provider, Whirl-i-gig with their CMS CollectiveAccess,
and the Association of Nova Scotia Museums and Connecticut League of
Historical Organizations will discuss how their shared model has helped to
address staff digital literacy and training needs; the difficulty of
getting data in and out of a CMS; developing better workflows and
sustainable collections-related practices, and cleaning up data in
preparation for a migration to a new CMS.

Our panelists for this session include:

*Seth Kaufman*, Developer, Whirl-i-gig <http://www.whirl-i-gig.com/>

*Karin Kierstead*, Museum Evaluation Program Manager, Association of Nova
Scotia Museums <https://ansm.ns.ca/>

*Diane Lee*, Collections Manager, Connecticut League of Historical
Organizations <https://clho.org/>

As with all of our sessions in this series, it is free to attend, and the
session will be recorded for those unable to be present for the live
discussion. All recordings of our webinar series can be found on our Youtube
Channel <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNXjDskOT1gYZucgmUvXf_Q>. Live
transcription services will be available and the recording will be
