I have just spent the lst three weeks trying to solve the same
problem, albeit with NC2. I understand that the updated version of
Microdot for NC2 is the same as the one for NC3, as supplied on the
CD. *IF* that is the case, what you need to do is download from
ftp.vapor.com the archive entitled md-144-nc2.lha and replace your
existing Microdot installation.
I'm a new user of MD myself, and not an expert- although I can talk
anyone through how to upgrade NC2 MD - I must stress that I don't have
NC3 (yet) and am not certain that this is the correct method for YOU.
I suggest that you wait and see if any other more experienced users
reply first, and onlytake this option if you don't get any more help
(and you've backed up your NC3 drawer!)
BTW Can you still send messages to your news server? When mine decided
to fail, I couldn't post at all- Is yours the same or is it solely a
header display problem?
