Are you realy speaking of MicroDot-II? I see you using YAM.
I have sometime the effect that the new messages counter of a folder
didn't reset to zero if I leave a folder. If I then reenter this
folder the (old) new messages are white and I can jump from one to the
next (new) message by pressing the N-Key (Next new), but the New-Flag
is cleared.
I can't say when this happen. But it has nothing to do with if I
reopen the Folder at the same day or at an other day.
