I want to use a newly setup SMTP server, but because of mail bombing it now requires authorization to post to non-local addresses. How do I get MD 1.4.4 to do this, or can I? The info. I have is for a PeeCee and it is: SMTP available...use the "My server requires authentication" feature in the account server outgoing section of Outlook, or equivalent email... SMTP: mail.nerds.co.uk user: [EMAIL PROTECTED] pass: [current] I think the authorization bit in Accounts only applies to the POP server so how do I setup the SMTP to use user name and password? ... ...
