Yes, the script doesn't continue otherwise.  The only possible way around
this is to RUN the editor, and have the next line in the script run a small
program which sets up a notification on the file and exits when it receives
the notification message.  Or runs a MailImport everytime a notification
message is received.  Of course, none of these give the possibility of
editing the message twice, applying changes between. (well, maybe with the
second one, if you edit the Message-Id before MailImporting, rather than
before editing)

You also have to close and re-open the group window before the message
decides to show, and the receiver sets itself to the "From" address for
some reason.  These both appear to be bugs in MD-2.
