Have you tried using "#?" ? Since you ARE using an Amiga program on
an Amiga, perhaps using the original wildcard symbols from AmigaDOS
might do the trick. I know you are working with a unary system when
working with newsgroups, but, it is through your Amiga. Just a thought.
