Microdot does have potential and it is (in my opinion anyway) probable the
second or third best Mailer on the Amiga. It does have a couple of advantages
over YAM in that it is also a newsreader and it uses CManager. Maintaining tons
of ectra Address books is a pain in the #@&%. But the reason why I don't use
Microdot more often is: I don't like the way everything opens in a new window I
find that on an AGA system this is awkward. But the main reason and I don't know
if this can be cured in the prefs, is the way MD saves mails all over the place
when you send one. Every time I write a mail it saves 1 copy in the sent folder
and 1 in the in folder and I'm not sure if it saves another elsewhere. I then
have to manually delete them all, wich I find very tedious. Can this be solved?
Otherwise a competent product, but it could learn a little from YAM's success.
I also think YAM looks nicer. But then those are only my opinions.
Regards
