I am experiencing a phenomenon when I select 10 messages from a news group to read. (10 is not critical number - a bunch) When I select the 10 from say Amiga applications and none of the messages have an attachment, these messages are all "read" and I can view them or read them off-line. When I select a bunch from say artificial intelligence, or fuzzy logic, and they have attachments such as an object file, or a image file, some (maybe the first one or three) will be "downloaded" and can be viewed off line, but the regularly MD will get stuck and hang on the next one. While MD is stuck, I can go to Octopus and start another MD, another new window opens up and I can access the same newsgroup and singularly download/read any of the bunch. I can even go to another news group and select another bunch of files WITHOUT attachments and they all get down loaded. My MD data file area is a clean empty large hard drive. What should I examine to try and understand this problem and correct it? Current solution is to singularly down load messages with attachments. Thanx in advance.
