When I first upgraded to 1.4.4, I noticed that, more or less, on a regular basis, newsgroups would randomly stop receiving new messages. I traced this to a problem with MDII and its setting of the last message received number. It usually required me to delete the problem newsgroup and resubscribed to it. However, I have discovered that if one turns off the "Auto-Expire" option, that the problem seems to have stopped. Of course, one must now manually erase messages. Anyone else come across this?
