The $64,000 Question is: "What do *you* mean by automatically?"

I do not ask this lightly, because the are two ways which are
referred as "automatic." One way is to have an attachment separate
from the message and get stored in a different file or directory,
as the message is entering your computer. The second way is done
by such E-Mail clients like AEMail. They you an ARexx script which
allows you to activate the saving of the attachment, after it has
come into your computer with the message. It is a separate process,
and it does not detach the attachment from the original message; it
copies it to wherever you wish.

I am not voluntaring to provide you with such a program. I am
just trying to make sure that whosoever answers your question, will
do it in a most informed way, to be of greatest help to you. :-)

                                         Julian.
