Woops. I haven't tried it. I hit get mail/news and it downloaded fine,
so I assume this is just happening with the "Mail download manager" --
I'll get my next mail with MDII first, and see what happens with it. To
me, it is a YAM-like feature that would be very important if I were
using MDII for mail and not just news. Through the years though, I have
seen this kind of thing with MDII all too often. I stayed with .198
until at least 1.1 or 1.2 because things that had worked no longer did.
I would download with .198, and then use 1.0 to process my news. Oh
well. So far, all the features I use, except that one, occasionally,
have worked on the new beta, and it seems faster too.
