Better yet let a script do that and import them to MD afterwards and
you'll have your mails back again.
Your news will however - unless that changed with recent betas - end
up in your PRIV folder and you can't move them into newsgroup folders
(another item for the wishlist).
You could make some mail folder for them and move them there to read
them more comfortable than using a textviewer on the plain files.
If you don't fear a bit more effort you could setup a local newsserver
and inject them there to let MD download them properly from it. :)
