Haven't looked at your pictures yet (I'm working off line), but mail list
manager here either does a full guru or a yellow alert for me.  Not good.
I looked at your picture and did not get this.  On the yellow allert one it
actually clicked through the alert and then worked as expected, but with
the guru the first time, I'm not inclined to use it again.

Search function just doesn't work, and returns garbage.  Several others
have noticed these problems or others with those functions.  I will just
work from my 1.4.15 executable when I want these functions.  Fortunately I
use MDII just for news and outgoing email forwarding of interesting posts
to friends, so only the search command affects me, and I seldom use it. 
BTW, open one of those numeric things, and you get more garbage.

I'm conservative, I have executables for every MDII version in my drawer
clear back to .198.
