A TFT-Monitor has a defined amount of horizontal and vertical pixel.
My 18"-TFT have 1280x1024 pixel. If you use lower resolutions like
800x600 or 1024x768 you get a accordingly smaller, centered picture.
You can zoom this to full screen size, but then the pixels will be
interpolated and this results in a soften screen. This softening
effect can be reduzed by optimizing the monitor. While playing this
games this softening doesn't matter, but while reading/writing text I
prefer a sharper display.

Greetings
Frank.
