I've had this happen with various versions of MD-II. Sometimes it
happened with only some groups. Other times, it happened with all of
them. And, spontaneously, too: One day everything's working fine; the
next, not.

In my case, and most everytime, it was caused by corrupted message IDs.
But first, check the headers of your outgoing messages to see if the
date is indeed correct, particularly the year. If so, try
unsubscribing and deleting the offending newsgroup and all its
messages, then resubscribing to it and downloading ALL its message
headers. If that doesn't work, completely remove MD-II and all its
files and databases, and reinstall. If that fails, contact your ISP's
tech support. Sometimes, if their news server has crashed, all the
message pointers, IDs, etc. get screwed up somehow relative to your
computer. I've had occasions where the ISP corrected the problem on
their end.

Good Luck . . .
