I've just had a look at the Message Filters page, and I think if you switch
to "continue with next filter" and use "Copy To" instead of "Move To" (mine
are all set to "Move") you should see the message in all relevant groups,
although will probably get absolutely everything showing in PRIV as well.
The only way I can think of to avoid this is to create a new dummy group,
and filter everything to "Move To" the dummy group AND "Copy To" the proper
group. That way anything which is not filtered will be left on its own in
PRIV, the filtered mail will be copied to all relevant groups, and a copy
of all the filtered mail will be in a dummy group. I would recommend using
TRASH as the dummy group, but I'm not sure how safe that is.

I haven't tried any of the above but it sounds good in principle.
