Hi David,

Here is a page that has info about Mac to MD recording, but it seems
to be only for analog audio connections:

        http://www.n2mp3.com/manual/notes.html#Anchor-MP3-10128

I don't know if there is a Macintosh USB to TOSlink solution available
yet, so I am forwarding your note to the MD mailing list with the hope
that someone there may be able to give further help. If anyone knows
of one, I will be happy to put the information on the MDCP.

As for what you can hook your portable MD recorder up to, it will
record from any line-out or microphone source, as well as optical
digital sources. Your CD player may or may not have optical digital
output, but I've seen new portable CD players with digital output for
as low as $120 (+shipping) in the US.

Regards,
Rick
