Some kind of headphones/earbuds will certainly come with it. I'm not
sure what the precise accessories are for the US model. Best to ask
the mailing list.

The old Sony MZ-B3. I think it may still be sold in Japan. It's very
old (MZ-R2 era unit) and the speaker is tiny. I think a small madern
boombox (like the Casio being sold recently at J and R in NYC) would
be a better bet if you had to have a speaker.

The portable MD units have analog output only. You could bring the
audio in through the Mac's line input jacks.

I don't know. Core Sound and Sound Professionals among others make
good mikes and provide extensive documentation to help you choose. See
the MDCP accessories page.
