Can anyone suggest a place to get a cheapish (under 50ukp) microphone in the UK? I'd prefer a shop in the south-east - I need it in time for the weekend. Bizarre as it sounds, I'm planning to record engine/exhaust noises at a car event. After that, I'll use it for interviews/lectures and maybe the odd gig, so something fairly small would be great. The only thing I've found so far is the Vivanco stereo lapel mike that Richer Sounds sells - can anyone comment on those or suggest some alternatives?
