Bear in mind that Sony makes the XA-107 adapter for $100 (see
http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/consumer/ss5/car/mobileaccessories/miscellaneous/xa-107.shtml)
that "Permits use of AUX source with UniLink head unit". It's probably
the neatest arrangment for hooking a portable MD player to a Sony CD
head unit.

Rick

p.s. I'm happy with the MDX-C7900 (nearly identical to the Sony
MDX-C5970), providing MD/FM/AM in my car.
