Bear in mind that Sony makes the XA-107 adapter for $100 (see http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/consumer/ss5/car/mobileaccessories/miscellaneous/xa-107.shtml) that "Permits use of AUX source with UniLink head unit". It's probably the neatest arrangment for hooking a portable MD player to a Sony CD head unit. Rick p.s.
